March 2004

Each month, Panorama magazine brings you the best from the world
of Porsche. Races, vintage car shows, technical articles, we cover it all!

At Panorama, we never have room for all the pictures we'd like to
share with our readers. Here are some photos that just wouldn't fit
into the magazine this month.

March's cover story is the 24 Hours of Daytona, where this year nearly half the field was taken up by 911s. You can read the story of the top finishers in the magazine, and for our Gallery this month, we salute all the 911 teams with card-carrying PCA drivers. To enter this grueling endurance contest is a victory in itself!

We refer you to the magazine for even more articles. How do you get your copy? Join PCA, Porsche Panorama is a prime benefit of membership!

Jack Lewis of Norcross, GA, and Edison Lluch of Puerto Rico were the PCA drivers in this GT3 Cup car that finished sixth in GT.

PCAer David Murry and the AASCO Motorsports team finished sixth in GTS and 20th overall.

Another all PCA crew at Daytona: Californians Joe Kunz, Mark Webber, Gary Becker, Patrick Flanagan and Derek Clark.

Joe and Wayne Nonnamaker from Ohio had a great run--finishing fourth in SGS. They were joined by Will Nonnamaker and Paul Menard.

Cory Friedman, Lynn Wilson, Bransen Patch, Adam Merzon and Mike Smith, all PCA drivers, brought home the Autometrics Motorsports Cup car home in eleventh place in the SGS division. Here they are followed by the Central Indiana PCA team.

PCAers Chip Vance and John Buttermore joined John Stevenson and Piers Maserati in the Stevenson Motorsports 911 GT3 RS.

The all Central Indiana Region team of Steve Lynn, Jim Brillhart, Terry Heath and Jack Hendricks piloted their 911 to a ninth place finish in the SGS class.

Kevin Buckler's Racers Group entries featured plenty of PCAers. Buckler and Patrick Long were paired in #66, while RJ Valentine, Chris Gleason and Bohdan Kroczek took up the challenge in #68.

Andrew Davis and Michael Cawley were part of the Foxhill Racing GT3 Cup car team that finished fifth in SGS.

The GT Technologies Cup car of PCA drivers Ron Zitza, Hartmut von Seelen and Carlos de Quesada finished tenth in GT.

Bob Ward, a PCAer from Casselberry, Florida, raced with the
Michael Baughman Racing Team.

Check out the March issue for the full story from Daytona, where PCAers Joe and Jay Policastro, with Johnny Mowlem, Mike Fitzgerald and Robin Liddell came home at the head of the GT pack, second overall.
