June 2006

Each month, Panorama magazine brings you the best from the world
of Porsche. Races, vintage car shows, technical articles, we cover it all!

At Panorama, we never have room for all the pictures we'd like to
share with our readers. Here are some photos that just wouldn't fit
into the magazine this month.

Featured in the June issue is our report on our first experience with the 2007 911 Turbo, a drive that took place in southern Spain. Quicker even than the Carrera GT, the 911 Turbo will set the standard for road-worthy supercars for a long time to come. Here are some of Leonard Turner's photographs from Spain that didn't make it into the magazine.

We refer you to the magazine for even more articles. How do you get your copy? Join PCA, Porsche Panorama is a prime benefit of membership!

Newly reconfigured rear spoiler resembles that of the 993 Turbo more than the 996 version; it splits at speed to give tri-plane aerodynamic surfaces.

For the first time ever, a car equipped with Tiptronic transmission and the Sport Chrono package actually out-accelerates the six-speed manual.

Borrowing from diesel turbo technology, the 997's twin turbos now feature variable vane control of the incoming airflow producing a significant increase in power and an extremely flat torque curve.
