September 2007

Each month, Panorama magazine brings you the best from the world
of Porsche. Races, vintage car shows, technical articles, we cover it all!

At Panorama, we never have room for all the pictures we'd like to
share with our readers. Here are some photos that just wouldn't fit
into the magazine this month.

Featured in the September issue is the spectacular San Diego Porsche Parade.  With plenty of Porsche activities for family members of all ages, a Porsche Parade is the ultimate PCA vacation.  For this month’s gallery we present some of Leonard Turner’s photos from the key activity for the young set:  the Kids’ Autocross.

We refer you to the magazine for even more articles. How do you get your copy? Join PCA, Porsche Panorama is a prime benefit of membership!

This year’s Kids’ Autocross was dedicated to the memory of Lanean Hughes, who pioneered the concept of this popular event.

The scooter contingent gets ready for action.  Kids can compete with anything from tricycles and strollers to roller blades.

In-line skates were a fast way around the intricate but compact course.

Stephan Nieslony, who won the “big kids” autocross with his prepared 914, gives a high five to a young finisher.

Check out the September issue for the full story on the 2007 Porsche Parade.  You’ll also find a feature on a Cayman Register event in the Blue Ridge Mountains; the story of Douris Reed, who won a Porsche in this year’s PCA Raffle; enjoy a visit to Roger Penske’s facility in Mooresville, NC; and a technical presentation on hybrid power for the Cayenne.
