November 2007

Each month, Panorama magazine brings you the best from the world
of Porsche. Races, vintage car shows, technical articles, we cover it all!

At Panorama, we never have room for all the pictures we'd like to
share with our readers. Here are some photos that just wouldn't fit
into the magazine this month.

Featured in the November issue is Senior Editor Joe Rusz’s driving report on the new Porsche 911 GT2, some 300 of which will come into the United States.  For this month’s Gallery we show you more of Joe’s photographs from the press introduction near Bremen in Germany.

We refer you to the magazine for even more articles. How do you get your copy? Join PCA, Porsche Panorama is a prime benefit of membership!

The new GT2 puts out 530 horsepower and boasts a 3.6-second zero to 60 mph time.  It’s top speed of 204 mph is just a mile slower than the Carrera GT supercar.

For the first time Porsche is using an expansion type intake manifold resulting in improved engine efficiency and higher maximum power.

Another Porsche first in the GT2 is the titanium exhaust system which combines strength with reduced weight.

Unlike other recent performance seat offerings, the lightweight, form-fitting seat of the GT2 will come to America.

A softer, four-way adjustable stabilizer bar works with H&R coil springs and Bilstein shocks on the front suspension.
