PARADE KIDS

Okay moms and dads, pack up those wagons (I mean Cayennes) and mosey on down here with the youngins' to Fort Worth, Texas in July for some great Texas hospitality and fun! What can set the stage better than a 4th of July Fireworks Show right outside the windows of the Worthington Hotel? The kids will love this colorful display in the Texas sky.

Because the Worthington is in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, there are quite a variety of shops for kids of all ages to visit (yes, this includes the "adult kids"). There are exceptional art museums and entertainment venues, many retail shops to find the perfect cowboy hat, plenty of restaurants, movie theatres, and much, much more. There is something for every one of all ages.

Texas Parade will offer many activities to keep the kids active, engaged, and having fun while the moms and dads can have their fun. We will have daily Texas craft workshops including a workshop sponsored by Home Depot. The kids will have the opportunity to go on an overnight visit to the Fort Worth Zoo and visit all the critters that are Native to Texas. The kids will go on a scavenger hunt around the entire zoo ... don't worry, none of the clues are actually in the Lion's cage.

No Parade would be complete without the Kids Autocross. This will be held at Texas Motor Speedway. Some of the youngsters will have the opportunity to tour the timing room where all the excitement takes place and have a chat session in the media room where all the professional drivers go for press conferences after the big race.

This is only some of the fun planned for the youngins', so stay tuned, buckaroos, for updated activities that will be added to the schedule.
