Cayenne Event

Our Cayennes are special Porsches. We know that they are competent stunning every day performance cars, which have lots of capabilities that most other Porsches don’t share. These include excellent backseats, trailer towing and much more.

This “after Parade” event will celebrate the “off-road” capabilities of our Cayennes.
Yes, the Cayenne is an excellent off paved road vehicle.

But many Cayenne owners have been a bit reluctant to explore this facet of their cars. This comes from both the trepidation that they might hurt their Porsche, and lack of knowledge of how and where to go “off road.”

In San Diego, we have already hosted three organized Porsche Club Cayenne OFF ROAD tours. And quite a few impromptu off road drives.

We will have several organized Cayenne on and off road tours on the days immediately following the Parade.

An important definition. These tours are “off PAVED roads.”
But they are ON recognized maintained public and private roads.
Dirt roads.
Like the first automobiles faced over a century ago.
Your Cayenne is VERY capable of driving these roads safely. All have already been driven by many Cayennes during pre runs.

We will have a selection of several Cayenne Tours on Friday, the first day after the official close of the Parade. And if there is sufficient interest, we will have a two-day tour, with an overnight at a hotel in the Southern California mountains. And two days filled with diverse "off road" tour roads.

This event is associated with the Parade, but not part of the Parade.
Registration interest will be recorded WITH Parade registration, but Tour Registration will be by a separate mechanism.

Please email your interest to the Tour organizers as soon as you can to help up with planning.
