Lodging at Parade Headquarters
San Diego’s Town and Country Resort and Convention Center will be headquarters for the 2007 Parade. The address is 500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108. The resort includes Tower Rooms located adjacent to the main parking lot and Garden Rooms in 2-story buildings near pools and gardens. The Town and Country has enough rooms to accommodate all Parade entrants although your choice of a Tower or Garden room will be subject to availability.
We have secured substantial discounts for Parade entrants. The rate for a standard room will be $120 per night (plus 10.5% occupancy tax). In-room wireless internet service can be accessed for the discounted rate of $4.95 per day. Also, the usual $10 daily parking fee will not be charged to entrants lodging at the Town and Country.
The Town and Country features several restaurants on the grounds. Additional restaurants are located in walking distance at Fashion Valley Mall. The San Diego trolley system has a station just over a footbridge from the main parking lot at the Town and Country. The trolley can take you to Old Town and the Gaslamp District, both of which feature restaurants and shops, to Qualcomm Stadium, which is the venue for the Parade Autocross, and to many other locations.
Reservations
Reservations will not be accepted by telephone. There are two ways to make reservations into the Parade room block and receive the discounted rate:
- By mail or fax on a special reservation form enclosed in the Entrant Packet.
- Online with the attendee access code. The code will be emailed to you when you register online.
Reservations require a one-night deposit to guarantee a room. Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. The room block will automatically release on June 7th. Reservations made after that time will be subject to available space and rates. Pets are not permitted at the Town and Country. Cancellations must be made by 6 pm at least two days before scheduled arrival to avoid being charged for one night.
