Recognizing that car nuts, and we are car nuts, enjoy their cars in many flavors, Radio Controlled Car Events have been part of many past Parades.

It will be back again for the 52nd Porsche Parade in San Diego.

We are currently slotted for Tuesday afternoon in a space at the Event Hotel. This will be after the Rally and Ice Cream Social, and before the Beach Party.

We will have a Concours for Radio Controlled Porsches with adult and child divisions, as well as some classes based on car size or scale. Start polishing now.

And since we enjoy driving our cars, there will be Autocross Competition.
The course size and length will vary depending on the age group of the “driver,” and the speed capability of the car class. There will be adult and child divisions, as well as classes based on car size or scale. We anticipate a class for the fastest Radio Controlled Porsches, those with gas-powered engines.

We plan to have very nice trophies for the class winners and recognition for all finishers.

So, get your Radio Controlled Porsche tuned up and polished up for this event. And, just like the path to Carnegie Hall; practice, practice, practice.
