Your PCA.ORG account is enabled while you maintain Active, paid-up status with the club. Access is granted to primary and affiliate members. Your position in PCA or in your region must be properly recorded in the PCA records management system in order for your access to be automatically set. You will see links to the membership records functions after logging-in, based on your access level. You will be assigned to one and only one of the following security groups.
There are four levels of access to PCA records management; your access rights are based upon your status with the club as follows. Access rights are automatically controlled by PCA's systems. You receive access according to the highest level to which you're allowed:
- Members - All regular active club members, including primary and affiliate Full members and Associate members. Members have the ability to see most of their own PCA information and their affiliate's (if they have one), and update selected portions of both.
- RegionMemberAdmin - Active club members who are Presidents, Membership Chairs, or Database Admins of their region. Can view membership information for all members of their region, and update most portions of it. Can opt-in to monthly membership report email containing reports and data files. Can access bulk emailing tool. Can also create a login username and password for region members.
- NatMemberAdmin - Active club members who are National Officers or have a selected National appointment. Similar to RegionMemberAdmin except not restricted to any region - can view and update member information for anyone, and create a login username and password for region members. Can opt-in to monthly membership report email containing reports and data files, for their region only. Can access bulk emailing tool.
- ClubRacingAdmin - Regular Active club members who are members of the Club Racing administration. Can view member information for all PCA members, but only update PCA Racing portions of records. Can access bulk emailing tool.
In addition to membership record access privileges, some members have access to special features of PCA.ORG as follows. Your position in PCA or in your region must be properly recorded in the PCA records management system in order for your access to be automatically set. You will see links to the following functions after logging-in, if you have the specified access level. These capabilities are individually granted and you may have more than one.
- Region Calendar Admin - Active club members who are Presidents, Vice Presidents, Membership Chairs, Newsletter Editors, Secretaries, Webmasters, or event Chairs of their region. Can enter & edit calendar and PCA Update (Pano) items for their region.
- National Calendar Admin - Active club members who are National Officers or have a National-level appointment. Includes Zone Reps and their staff. Can enter & edit any calendar items
- Tech Q&A Admin - Active club members who are members of the Tech Committee. Can read, answer, and manage Tech questions.
- News Admin - Active club members who are National Officers or have a National-level appointment. Does not include Zone Reps or staff. Can enter & edit news announcements. News announcements appear on the home page and in the RSS feed.
- Pano/UpFixin' Admin - Active club members who are Panorama Editors. Can enter & edit Pano index information.
