Zone Six Gathering and Show

Bend, Oregon

September 23-25, 2016

One of the great “locals only” secrets about Bend and Central Oregon has always been the month of September.  The summer visitors are gone and the winter visitors are yet to come, roads are clear and traffic is down, days are sunny and nights are beginning to cool.  If this sounds like Porsche time — it is!

Peachstate Region: Concours #4

The fourth and final Concours for this year will be held on at Stoney Point airfield in Cumming. Join other club members at a GREAT venue which combines homes and private airplane hangers with a runway in the middle of acres of grassy knolls and woods. Whether you come as an entrant or a spectator you will be treated to park-like grassy areas for parking your Porsche, making great photo opportunities. Bring your family and friends, show off your Porsche, and experience a relaxing Sunday outing. Spectators welcomed. A free lunch will be served for club members and their guests.

Peachstate Region: Concours: Meet, Greet, and Shine

Take a hose to your car, "pretty it up" and show it off.

Peachstate Region - Concours #2

Concours #2 will be held at Hennessy Porsche North Atlanta. Like past years, we will be holding our summer Concours at Hennessy's air-conditioned dealership.  The recent major expansion has doubled the service area ensuring adequate space for all the cars and spectators.  There will be a $20 fee to compete, but spectating is FREE.  Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP to Concours co-Chairs Daryl Goetz and Don Hand here or for questions or offers to help judge or volunteer.

Peachstate Region: Concours #1

Concours #1 will be held at the Lillian Webb Park in Norcross. This year we will be holding the event in the lower park area which is about 3 times larger than the upper area where we've held past Concours.  This area has a much better design for displaying and spacing our cars.  Like last year, there will be a  Rookie class with awards for new entrants.

As the first Concours of 2016, we are expecting many new and repeat participants.  So it's a great time to bring your car and join the many other Porschephiles who love to display and see great looking cars.

Peachstate Region: Concours School

Want to hear more and learn about getting your car ready for Concours?  Plan to attend the upcoming Concours School on March 5 where you will be able to get "hands on" training from "experienced" club members.  Judging and scoring sheets will be explained along with techniques for preparing your specific model Porsche.  The school will be held at Vintage Motorcar Restorations (Ray Morgan's shop).  Stayed tuned for time and additional details.
