As May arrives here in North Texas I think we can all say we are NOT ready for summer season. I bet we all agree that our spring and fall seasons are spectacular. Its time to get some great driving in! There is no better location to do this than farm-to-market Road 455!
Welcome to the 2nd annual Bluebonnets Maverick Tour! This years Bluebonnet Tour will be just southeast of Dallas. Ennis is the official Bluebonnet City of Texas.
Typically the bluebonnets peak around the third week of April. However, this can vary year to year due to weather conditions and terrain, so we have chosen, Sunday April 15th for this year's tour. This time we'll witness a sneak preview one week before Ennis has their annual Bluebonnet festival.
Our first Tour, "Wine M Up, Blow M Out!" is scheduled for Sunday, March 25th, which is the first official weekend of spring. We have a great drive lined up, and it's a new route! The roads on this tour are the most underpopulated that I have experienced on a Maverick Tour, well at least since I have been attending them. You will experience a great country drive in the less-populated areas northeast of Dallas. At the time this article was written, there was no construction on this route.

Join the Dakota Region and other members of the Porsche Club for a relaxed, leisurely tour of the Driftless Area of Minnesota and Wisconsin. There will be guided drives both mornings, with time to wander and explore (aimlessly, if you wish) both afternoons. Suggested routes will be offered for post-lunch drives. Time for our second trip through Hell. This one starts in the southwest corner of the Fenton MI WalMart parking lot, travels through Hell and ends up at the Common Grill in Chelsea MI. The drive is about an hour. We will leave the parking lot as soon after 6:00pm as possible. Come join us for some good food and a fun drive.
