Formula 1: US Grand Prix BBQ Party

PCA Hill Country Region (HCR) has worked with Circuit of the Americas to provide an exclusive ticket offer for PCA members planning to attend the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix, October 19 – 21, 2018 at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Austin, Texas.  COTA has dedicated seating exclusively for PCA members in the T12 and T15 grandstands.  Turn 12 prices range from $325.00 - $395.00 per ticket.  Turn 15 prices range from $445.00 – $645.00 per ticket.  Other ticket options are also available.  COTA is also offering PCA members discounted parking in Lot T or Lot F for $100.00.  

Both the tickets and parking are for all three days.  COTA has also announced that Bruno Mars will perform on Saturday evening October 20.  There will be another concert Sunday October 21 (performer TBA) after the F1 race.  Admission to both concerts is included in the price of your ticket.

In addition to your F1 tickets, HCR invites you to join us for two exclusive HCR PCA Nights at the world-famous Franklin Barbecue!  HCR has reserved the entire restaurant from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Friday October 19 and Saturday October 20.  This includes dedicated parking at the restaurant.  This private event will include all the melt in your mouth brisket, ribs, pulled pork, turkey and sausage that your heart desires, along with sides of beans, potato salad and slaw. This also includes an open bar featuring Texas beers and wines.

Franklin Barbeque has become the benchmark for Texas BBQ.   Owner Aaron Franklin is known throughout the U.S. and internationally as one of the best BBQ chefs around.  He has even received a James Beard award for this BBQ culinary skills.  He travels the world offering up his Texas style brisket, ribs, sausage, pork and turkey.    

The cost is $128 per person (includes tax and gratuity).  This may seem like a lot, but remember it includes an open bar, lots of food and you don’t have to stand in line.  

The event is limited to a maximum of 60 people per night.  Registration opens at www.clubregistration.net at 7:00 PM Tuesday April 24.  You must pre-pay to be accepted.  Should the event be cancelled for any reason, we will refund your registration fee.  

Remember that ticket purchase for F1 and registration for dinner at Franklin Barbeque are two separate purchases.
