Porsche reports sluggish January sales

Monday, February 3, 2014

Porsche starts off 2014 in the US with 3,096 vehicle sales, an 8% drop compared to January 2013. According to Porsche, “The shortfall results mainly from inclement weather in major markets and a currently extremely low inventory of its best-selling Cayenne models, which will be ramped up in the coming months.”

The Cayenne still topped the charts in sales, with 1,158 units sold. The 911 was the second-best seller for January, with 792 sales. Porsche sold 600 Boxster/Cayman models and 546 Panameras.
