179 Individuals have successfully completed the National Instructor Training program held by PCA Regions at tracks such as Watkins Glen, Lime Rock, Willow Springs, Waterford Hills, Putnam Park, Palm Beach International, NOLA, Pocono Raceway, NJMP, Sebring, Summit Point, Miller, CMP, and Roebling Road. We thank the PCA Regional Leadership and National Instructor Training Consultants who have made this training possible.

The PCA National Instructor Training Program was initiated in the fall of 2003; since that time, over 4,400 instructors have been exposed to the Program. The intent of the training Program is to add consistency of instruction to novice and beginner drivers in our Driver’s Education program. The purpose of this document is to set some ground rules for running the Program and to add consistency to the regional implementation of the training. The National Program consists of four class room and four on-track role playing sessions.

Pirelli Tires is the major sponsor for the PCA National Drivers Education Program. Their support helps with Instructor Cards, Instructor Logos and DE Decals, National Instructor Training Programs, and website development such as HPDE Line

On December 15, 2016, PCA National DE Chair Alex Bell will hold a drawing in his office from the names of these 179 instructors. He will choose two names, and he will notify the winners who will then contact Pirelli for the tires of their choosing!

Pirelli congratulates these new Instructors for their efforts in 2016, and Pirelli is honored to help support the PCA Drivers Education mission of learning while having a great time. As we know, it is not just the cars, it is the people!
