When Porsche launches a significant vehicle, it sometimes gives us a look behind the scenes at the factory in which it’s built, training a camera on what seems like the entire production process. The automaker didn’t disappoint with its latest such video on the Taycan.

After an aerial shot of the new factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, the video gets straight to the methodical action, which mesmerizes with striking visuals matched to the strangely calming noises of the electric vehicle progressing down the assembly line. Starting with a bare chassis, the majority of assembly is done robotically, with very few humans. The last third of the video had a more human touch, with employees overseeing and playing a more active role in joining the battery and drivetrain to the body.

Watch the video above, but be sure to block off a good 30 minutes of your time if you want to see the whole thing.
