Each fall and spring, Porsche Club of America opens a member only raffle, in which you, the member, may purchase entries for a chance to win a brand-new Porsche. For the Fall 2019 Member Only Raffle, the first grand prize is a brand-new 718 Cayman GT4 plus $25,000 in cash. The second grand prize is a 718 Spyder plus $25,000 in cash. Any additional grand prizes are either a 718 Cayman T or Boxster T, plus $25,000 in cash. Alternatively, winners may also choose $85,000 instead of a car plus $25,000. After the initial 8,500 entries, another Grand Prize will be added for every additional 4,000 entries sold. Raffle entries are $50 (USD) each.

Here are the grand-prize winners:

  • Bradley Nicklin — Potomac Region (watch video above)
  • Jon Esparza — Orange Coast Region
  • Edgar A. Secrest — Northern Ohio Region
  • Ronald L. Meyer — Maverick Region
  • Norm Snesil — Gold Coast Region (watch video above)

The new Cayman GT4 and Spyder represent the top models of Porsche's mid-engined 718 range, and, as such, they are equipped with a brand-new naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat six that makes 414 horsepower. Except for the convertible top, the Spyder is mechanically identical to the Cayman GT4, meaning both cars get thoroughly updated and distinct suspension, part of which is derived from the 911 GT3.

The 718 Cayman T and 718 Boxster T are the choices for the third grand prize and beyond, depending on how many raffle tickets are sold. They are equipped with a 300-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter flat four and capable of 0-60 miles per hour in as little as 4.5 seconds. The new T versions of the 718 also feature more performance-oriented equipment that make them more driver-focused cars.
