Today Porsche announced two new variants of the Cayenne, the GTS and GTS Coupe, which feature unique styling cues and several performance options as standard. The SUVs slot in between their S and Turbo counterparts, and are considered the sportiest in the range.

A 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making 453 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque is connected to an eight-speed torque-converter automatic tranmission, and they can launch the GTS and GTS Coupe from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds, or 4.2 seconds using the Performance Start feature that comes with the Sport Chrono Package. Sport Chrono is optional on the GTS and standard on the GTS Coupe. Both SUVs get the normally optional Sport Exhaust as standard, and GTS Coupe buyers may also opt for an even louder center-exit sport exhaust.

Active dampers (Porsche Active Suspension Management) on the GTS and GTS Coupe lower them by 30 millimeters compared to their S counterparts and keep the 21-inch satin black RS Spyder Design wheels under control.

A Porsche GTS wouldn’t be a GTS without black accents throughout the vehicle, including exterior trim pieces and even the headlights and taillights are tinted.

Inside Alcantara covers the headliner, seat centers, center console armrests, and doors cards, while black brushed aluminum is used for the interior trim. Eight-way sport seats are exclusive to these GTS models and provide more bolstering.

The Cayenne GTS starts at $107,300, and the GTS Coupe starts at $110,500, not including the $1,350 delivery fee. They’re expected to reach US dealerships in the fall of 2020.
