You probably read Pete Stout’s first drive in a 918 prototype in the June 2013 issue, but now you can ride along as he tests the finalized 918 Spyder—Porsche’s hybrid exotic with nearly 900 hp and more than 900 lb-ft of torque. Randy Leffingwell reveals the surprising history of a 1969 911 GTS, found in a New York Times classified ad back in 1973—with a background that was entirely unexpected. Porsche’s new X73 Sport Suspension option for the 981 Boxster is put to the test by Alexander Palevsky, as he takes to the challenging coastal roads of Southern California to review its performance against the finesse of the 987 Boxster Spyder. In "Hot Tip," we meet a two-time 944 buyer who dreamt of a 911 Speedster after a chance meeting at a PCA Parade in 1989—and drove the one he bought back to the scene of that Parade 24 years later. Finally, Bob Chapman spends time with teenage phenomenon Madison Snow, who has been driving a 911 GT3 Cup in IMSA competition since he was just 15 years old.

Of course, regular Panorama departments Art & Canvas, European Windows, Junior Driver, From the Regions, Street Talk, Tech Q&A, and zwART are all present and accounted for. We hope you’ll enjoy the issue!
