Sunroof

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1972; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4T; Total Mileage: 72,000;

My sunroof motor is really noisy when I open and close it. It seems to work fine except the noise. Is there a simple way to lubricate the cables and gears without having to take it apart? If so, what is the best, most simple procedure? What type of lubricant would you recommend? Is there a spray aerosol lubricant with a long nozzle? Thank You.

Installing a new clutch cable (missing piece)

Speedometer/Odometer

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T Targa; Year: 1973; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4; Total Mileage: 130,000;

I think I know the answer to this. I recently had my speedometer/odometer rebuilt at North Hollywood and it has worked fine for about a year. Recently the needle started bouncing up and down and now has stopped working all together. Is this a cable problem and if so is it an easy fix or should I let my Porsche mechanic handle it?

Heater Control Boxes

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 S; Year: 1970; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5 Short Stroke, MFI; Total Mileage: 84K;

In replacing the old rusty flapper boxes one of the cables that routes through the chassis broke off just short of the box. Is it possible to fish new cable through the plastic housing from the control arm back to the flapper by using the existing cable as the pull rabbit? Are the driver and passenger cables independent of one another or is it a common cable? Thanks in advance.

high-low beam control

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1973; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4L; Total Mileage: 73K;

To shut off the high beams I have to slightly pull back on the turn signal control arm when in the low beam position. Is there a way to adjust the control position or is the switch is broken?Thanks!

Proper Clutch Cable

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1971; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.7 CIS; Total Mileage: 75000;

What year should be the clutch cable be when the car is a 1971, but the engine and transmission is a 1975 2.7l? The one that is on the car seems to be a homebrew.
