Drag Lever for Hand Throttle - '74 911

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1974; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 135K;

Hello Ed,You answered a question about a hand throttle that stopped working and suggested it was probably the "Drag Lever" that was broken. I have a similar 74 911 with the same problem & have searched the PET files for a drag lever without success. Could there be another name to call that part? Or perhaps you have the part number? Thanks for your help!

Heater Control Cables Possibly Broken

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 SC; Year: 1982; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 63,000;

I was out driving my 911 the other day it was smoking hot in the car - I had the heat full blast the night before (cold night) - however, it feels like my heater knob now has more play and the heater cable could possibly be broken. Is this something I can tackle on my own? Can someone walk me through this? Thank you!

911 1976 can not remove ignition switch

Vehicle Information: Model: 911s; Year: 1976; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 80000;

I can not get the ignition switch to release from the steering colum - I have loosened the nut on the lock but can not figure if the stud goes into the switch housing. I am afraid to try prying it out. I followed the article in 101 Projects but its not sliding out. Any info would be appreciated.

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1974; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 148000;

Ed i have checked the throttle handle it was all the way down? is it possable that the return spring may be weak? there is a small one at the top by the air intake and a larger and longer one down on the left side of the motor.
