1982 911 SC heater lever does not stay up

Vehicle Information: Model: 911sc; Year: 1982; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 116,000;

I just had the heater system overhauled in my car but have one remaining problem. Both the right and left levers work - pull up the lever and heat circulates. However, the right lever will not stay up by itself. Is there an adjustment for this problem?

1983 911 SC Clutch

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC; Year: 1983; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 54,433;

I have very little free play in the clutch pedal. The clutch is hard to press down and engages the motor with minimal travel from the floor board. I do not have any difficulty getting through the gears. However, I must take care to fully depress the clutch to avoid any grinding. The amount of effort to depress the clutch combined with the extremely short travel space does not feel normal. Would you recommend replacing the cable and helper spring?

1982 911SC Cruise Control problem

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC Targa; Year: 1982; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 169,000;

When I set the cruise control let's say for 70, it finally grabs hold about 65 to 66 MPH and stays there. At the end of the cable sheath it attaches to a standoff on the engine. Is there a clip that holds the cable assembly to the standoff? Right now it is being held in place by a tie wrap and has some play in it possible causing the 5 mph drop in speed.

The workshop manual I have says there is a saftey when the cable breaks so I disconnected the "t" handel to releive the tension but that has not worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated .
