The passenger window will go up & down from the passenger switch but only goes up from the driver's switch. I've checked that all wires are connected on the driver's switch but they may not be on the correct connection. Thanks for your help.

1989 911 Carrera Electric windows don't work.

Model: 911, Year:1989, Mileage:80000, Type of use:Street use only
Both side windows stop operating intermittently. When one side doesn't work, the other side also doesn't work. All window switches are dead. Then without warning both windows are working again. Where do I begin my trouble shooting?

battery tender

Model: 911, Year:1982, Mileage:200000, Type of use:Street use only
I recently read an article in the haggerty classic car news about how a battery on a classic car blew up because it ran out of water. I had thought this impossible because a battery tender cycles on and off as needed so therefore cannot overcharge.

No spark, won't start

Model: 911SC, Year:1983, Mileage:250000, Type of use:Street use only
I've been told check the green coax sending wire from the distributor. My 83 has a brown wire from the distributor that goes into a wiring harness. Is this the one? how can I check continuity on this wire.
