oil and fueltreatments

Vehicle Information: Year: 1975; Body Type: Coupe;

Can I use a teflon treatment in my engineoil to reduce friction and wear in the internal parts of the motor.I did that on one of my former cars with the result that the car after 10 years of continued teflonuse got 10 miles more per gallon than before and never had any mechanical problems till 360000 miles when I sold it.Also,is it okay to use a fueltratment like lucas fuel treatment,if you do not drive the Porsche very often.Thanks Fred

Wayward Vacuum Hoses

Vehicle Information: Year: 1979; Body Type: Coupe;

I have two vacuum hoses that are attached only at one end. The first hose (picture Throttle body) is attached on the forward end of the throttle body to the left of what seems to be an orange/red plug and is floating around back by the distributor. The second is coming off of the thermo valve and I believe belongs attached to the warm up valve, but there is no place to connect it. In the second picture (warm up valve) there is a hole but no tube coming out to attach the vacuum tube. HELP!

911 sc ignition

Vehicle Information: Year: 1979; Body Type: Coupe;

I had my car at the body. Shop called when done and said car would not start. Car would turn over but no spark and no whine from cd box. Porsche shop said cd box dead and alternator dead - very odd. Replaced cd box with permatune unit and alternator with valeo unit. The car now runs really bad when cold (bogs down, kicks, backfires, etc.). As far as I know fuel mix and timing was not touched so only change is (or shuld be)alternator and permatune. Thoughts?
