I'm looking to become a first time 911 buyer and need clarification on awarning seen in a Panorama article on buying early 911's. The 2.7 Lengines in the mid-70's seemed to have problems with longevity. Was thisrectified by the 1977 model year? I'm looking at a car with 130,000 mileson it. Oil seals have been replaced, not sure about cam chain tensioner.Internal workings are un-modified or repaired. Stay interested or keeplooking?
