Won't Start

Model: 911, Year:1982, Mileage:155000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
I recently broke down on the highway when the cat conv. turned bright orange and caught a couple of things on fire. I contained the fire and got it home. I removed the cat conv. and replaced it with a bypass pipe. The oxygen sensor is not hooked up but it wasn't before w/cat. conv. either. Now I'm trying to restart the car with no success, its just turns with no crank. Any ideas. Thanks Todd

Ruf oil cooler

Model: 911 SC, Year:1981, Mileage:13800, Type of use:Both Street & Track
I have an 81 911 SC. I live in the hottest part of the desert, with temps above 115 for 8 weeks at a time. Do you think a Ruf oil cooler would allow me to drive my car safely in the summer?

what is regular maintenance for a late 80's 911

i am thinking about purchasing my first Porsche and am wondering what is the regular maintenance required (valve adjustment, etc), and what are the intervals? If a 911 was well maintained when would it need a major overhaul?

3.0L Camshaft bolt

Model: 911, Year:1977, Mileage:72000, Type of use:Street use only
I have a 3.0L type 930/02 engine in my Euro Carrera. During a valve lash adjustment found a broken lower cylinder stud. Hence the disassembly. This particular motor has the hex bolt and washer that attaches the cam drive gear to the camshaft. What would you suggest I use as a thread locker? It should be noted that I'm replacing the bolt and washer with new parts. All the manuals i'm reading, show the camshafts with the nut and washer assy.. Thank you
