driver's Seat CRemoval

Model: 911, Year:1974, Mileage:130000, Type of use:Street use only
I can move the seat all the way to the rear and can remove the front bolts. When I try to slide the seat forward to remove the rearward bolts I can only move the seat about 1/2 way forward. not nearly enough to access the rear bolts. The outboard side seems free with the inboard side snagging on something hard. I checked to be sure no carpeting or anything else was catching the inbd rail. Any ideas? There's so little room to work under the seats as you know.....

seat will not move forward very far

Model: 911, Year:1974, Mileage:90000, Type of use:Street use only
My drivers seat will not move forward very far - It will go back all the way and allow the front bolts to be removed but I have tried as hard as possible to move the seat forward so the rear bolts are visible but so far have been unsuccessful. I have reached under the seat and felt the rails for bolts not screwed down properly but did not find any. I even tried removing the front bolts and lifting the seat upward while trying to move it forward without success. Any advice? Thanks ---

Bedeviled by mice!

Model: 911SC, Year:1982, Mileage:106,00, Type of use:Street use only
I live seven miles down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, Arizona. My 1982 911SC holds up well to the conditions, but I'm being plagued by mice getting into in the trunk and passenger compartment and setting up housekeeping. I cannot figure out how they are gaining access. Do you have any ideas? It doesn't take much of an opening for a pocket mouse to get through. Thanks very much,Jonathan Hanson

Manual Window Controls, '81 911 SC

Is it possible to replace the electric window actuators with manual cranks? I use the car almost exclusively at the track and would prefer old school window cranks

Identifying a dash

Model: 911SC, Year:1982, Mileage:82000, Type of use:Street use only
I have a 82, and the dash has had better days, how can you tell the leather dash from the non-leather dash? I have a 79 in the drive right now, should they match or is there a change from 79 to 82? The big difference between them is on the 82 there is some stitching from side to side that the 79 does not have.
