87 Carrera blower noise

Vehicle Information: Model: Carrera 3.2; Year: 1987; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 3.2L; Total Mileage: 69200;

I have an intermittent blower motor noise (mild screech) when raising either of the defroster levers. This appears to be coming from behind the dash, but I haven't seen anything that says there is a blower motor anywhere other than on the engine and in the footwells. I have the standard (non-automatic) system. Is there another blower somewhere? What blower does the console rotary switch control?

1990 911 Cab C4 Exhaust smell in car when top is down,not when top is up

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 Cab C4; Year: 1990; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 120,000;

I seem to get an exhaust smell in my car with the top down. It has not happened when the top is up. The only thing I can think of is the heat was on when the top was down.

My 9 position climate control system is on the blink. Ho heat and no blowers. I suspect the circuit board, but could be other things too. Can I get a copy of the article on the climate control system from the Feb., 2001 Panorama anywhere or from anyone? Any help appreciated. Any other advice appreciated too. 1990 964 C2 Heater - fan turns on and off over and over again

Vehicle Information: Model: 964 C2; Year: 1990; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 40,000;

When I turn the thermometer dial to add warmer air to the cabin, although the fan coming from the motor blows warm air, it does so by turning on for about 3 seconds, then turns off for 3 seconds - which happens over and over. What gives? Also, a couple of months ago, the same fan would not turn off when the car was off. I had to pull the little thermometer from the top of the HVAC unit. Any relation?
