1997 993 Car Quits

Vehicle Information: Year: 97; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 16500;

Car stalled after a 15 minute ride on highway followed by 10 mins. stop & go without any indications of a problem. Car would not restart but did turn over. Car had half tank of fuel. I opened gas cap thinking way back to the years of vapor lock, but despite repeated tries car would not start. Could a fuel pump just die like that? Other ideas?

Fueling Difficulty

Vehicle Information: Year: 1999; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 21,000;

The tank will accept only small quantities of fuel before the nozzle shuts off. The tank was removed to perform some repairs and I suspect that the venting hose(s)may be have been re-installed incorrectly. This was not a problem before this work was performed. What should I look for and how do I access the area to be examined?

Using Race Gas versus Avgas in GT3

Vehicle Information: Year: 2002; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 40+ Hours;

Do you recommend using Aviation gasoline in my 2002 GT3 Supercup? I know the specific gravity of the avgas is lighter, but I'm not sure if this is a problem. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

1995 993 car intermitently cuts out after a couple of minutes

Vehicle Information: Year: 1995; Body Type: Cabriolet; Total Mileage: 55000;

I have owned the car for about a month, and it has cut out a couple of times within a couple of minutes after starting, usually after I've accelerated after coming to a stop sign. The check engine light comes on as it dies. The power remains on. If I wait a minute or two, it starts up again and goes without incident. Any thoughts?

Fuel Leak Forward of Driver Side Rear Wheel

Vehicle Information: Year: 1989 Feb; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 144030;

When I fill my fuel tank to capacity my car drips fuel from the bottom side, just forward of the driver side rear wheel arch area. (About six inches forward). If I short load the fuel to about 8/10 to 9/10's of a full tank I do not have any problems...no leaks. I suspect it may have something to do with the charcoal cannister, but I am not sure? I plan on pulling the wheel and fender skirt to see what the problem might be. Do you have any probable suggestions? Thank You.
