Looking for quiet ceramic brake pads...possible?

My car has original ceramic brakes and they squeak very loudly when they are heated up. My local dealer says that the rotors and pads all look good.

Is there a quieter Porsche authorized ceramic brake pad available?

Why did the E-Brake on my 997 Release on its own

I was letting my 997 warm up while I put away some things in my garage.  The car ran for approximately 5 minutes when I heard a clunking sound and watched as the car raced down my driveway and finally came to a rest in a grassy field across the street.  The front of the car was facing toward the bottom of the driveway.  The driveway is a steep hill, however the car was running with the e-brake applied on the semi-flat area of the driveway.  It is a manual transmission car, when I caught up with the car, its e-brake handle was in the downward/unapplied position.

Bleeding 4S Brakes

2005 Porsche 911 Chassis number

Model: 911, Year:2005, Mileage:26,400, Type of use:Street use only
I own a 2005 Porsche Carrera C2 coupe. I need to replace my brake pads. The brake pad distributor is asking if the chassis is either a 196 or a 197. How do I tell if my car is a 196 or a 197 Chassis?

Maximum Lateral Runout

Model: C2S, Year:2005, Mileage:30,000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
Hello,I have a 2005 Carrera 2 S. During hard braking at the track I experience some vibration in the steering. I wanted to start checking the front rotors. Can you tell me what the maximum lateral runout can be by factory standards? Do you have any other thoughts what the cause could be? It seems the faster I go (above 100 Mph) the worse it gets. I use standard Pirelli Rosso N rated tires on 19" rims. Thanks for any feedback.

Brake pad change on 2007 C2S

Model: C2S, Year:2007, Mileage:37,000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
Recently bought a 2007 C2S and went to change front pads from OE to Pagid Orange for DE events. After retracting pads, I still couldn't get the old pads out. I noted another question about a C4S and wonder if the vibration dampers are the issue. If this is the case, I presume I need to remove the caliper bolt to get the old pads out. Once I do this, can I use a different vibration damper so that the pad change procedure is simpler, like it was on my old 996?

Brake Bleeding

Model: 997 Carrera 2, Year:2008, Mileage:32,000, Type of use:Street use only
I have a 2008 997 Carrera 2 tiptronic with 32,000 miles. I recently flushed the brake system and of course blead the system. However, after repeated attempts to bleed the brakes the brake pedal still feels mushy. I even activated the ABS by driving on a gravel surface to engage the ABS. Are there more than one bleeeder valve on each calaiper on this model? What about the car having Porsche Stability Management, is this relevant? What about the clutch component in the Tiptronic.

loose brake pads

Model: CarreraS, Year:2010, Mileage:8000, Type of use:Street use only
Front brake pads rattle loudly when brake pedal not pressed. Car is only app 8000km and brake pads are as new. I`ve been told some sort of foam/glue needs to be applied to calipers. Have you heard of this problem before ? What would be the solution ?Thank youAntonio

carbon ceramic noise

Model: 997 C4S, Year:2007, Mileage:25,000, Type of use:Street use only
Recently noted intermittent squeal when driving slowly and applying breaks. Plenty of meat on the pads and rotors look pristine. Any thought on the cause and fix?
