Seat Belts Not Retracting

The driver side seat belt on my 997.1 does not retract fully when the button is pushed.  I have checked that the belt is not twisted in the clip or mechanism.  Is this a problem I can fix with direction or is this a dealer item?  Thanks!

Recommended seats for track use for 997

What are the best after market seats to put in the car for track use?  Should a full roll cage be added for harness or can a bar be fitted in car?

\thank you

Radio and Heater Control Knobs and Levers

Model: Carrera S, Year:2006, Mileage:12,500, Type of use:Street use only
Carrera S with 12,500 miles and garage kept. Both the radio knobs and climate control levers have become sticky to the touch. Using them results in a black gooey substance on your fingers. Porsche Mobile said the only fix is to replace both the sound system and climate control heads for many many dollars. Is there an alternative fix? Thanks, Lyndsay Job

wind deflector

Model: 997, Year:2009, Mileage:25000, Type of use:Street use only
Were wind deflectors standard equipment on all 997.2 cabriolets from '09 on?

Replacement of Floor Mats

Model: 911 c2s, Year:2006, Mileage:48,000, Type of use:Street use only
I purchased the inexpensive floor mats as an option. The edging on the driver's side mat, where my left foot might rub against, has separated from the body of the mat. Does Porsche still make replacement mats for my model (2006 997 s) or do you know of any alternative replacement mats.

Driver seat switch fell off

Model: Carrera S, Year:2007, Mileage:39000, Type of use:Street use only
The switch (Forward/back) for the electrical driver seat just broke and fell off; I have the part. The dealearship wants $800 for the repair (replace the entire assembly while taking the seat off). Anybody knows a cheap fix for this? Thanks in advance

windshield coating?

Model: 997, Year:2007, Mileage:30,000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
I mounted a toll road transponder to my windshield with "industrial strength" Velcro. Even though the car is seldom left outdoors, the Velcro adhesive melted and the transponder slid down the windshield over an inch. There are now two four inch streaks of sticky adhesive. I have heard 997s have a coating applied to the inside of the windshield. On any other car I would use a razor blade to scrape it off. What is the best way to safely remove the adhesive? Thanks!

Leather Seats

Model: 997, Year:2008, Mileage:34,000, Type of use:Street use only
My 2008 997 has the standard leather/leatherette interior. Is it possible to refit the two seats with full leather?
