I can't find the mounting balls for the rod?

When I unbolted the heater control box and removed it  (located between the seats) the rod  that actuates the heater flap dropped out.  I've looked inside the box and can't find the little mounting ball  or where it's saposta connect to on the other end?  Where are the mounting points for this rod?

Thanks

A/C flow blocks off after several minutes of driving.

When I turn on the A/C compressor it works for several minutes and then it sounds like a door closed and air flow stops.  It turn the compressor off and restart and flow resumes normally. Mechanic says no fault codes are displayed regarding the A/C.

My new and wonderful black on black 1986 930 is not cooling well enough during this Houston summer. The AC has been upgraded to r134. I have read that ProCooler would correct the problem. Any suggestions? In addition, the AC was just serviced and was reported to be in proper working condition. Thank you for your help.

1987 with or wihtout heat

Vehicle Information: Year: 1987; Engine (Size, Modifications): 3.3 turbo; Total Mileage: 67,000;

When I turn the auto heat selector to the red zone I get heat at once (If the engine is warm), but then it cycles off and won't come back on. If I go to the highest number it comes on and stays on high(Bake).I never hear the foot well blowers come on so I don't know if they work. I've checked the flaper valves and they open and close norm. Any ideas? Also, do the blowers on the dash control panel work with the heat?
