914-6 CV Joint Replacement

Hi Ed,Judy Hendrickson and I have a 914-6 track car. In repacking the CV joints I noticed that the outer race has a lot of wear (probably .020" or more). I can't seem to find replacement CV joints. What are you using for them now? Where is a good spot to get some?Thanks,Matt Romanowski

Hello Ed,I am having some trouble removing the old rubber rear bushings on my 74 914/4 they are just sherdding and pieces are stuck inside. Any advice on tools or methods of getting these out? Thanks for your time.John

This if or a 912E. Maybe shd be directed ti 1976 911 post but many 912E questions go to 914 so starting here. Passenger side wheel bearing exploded, scored axle. Ground axle round raised burrs to make bearing fit. Did not w. Need a whole new strut. No new ones to be had. What to do. Wd 911 struts for same year substitute, and replace both?,

Looking forward from the rear of the car, the body measures about 3/4" lower on the right side than the left. What is the possible cause and solution?

914 1974 chassis list

The rear of the car has a definite list to starboard. Rear springs (green stripe) and shocks (orange) were removed and unloaded. They appear OK. What should I try next?

914 1974 Control Arm Bushings

I have the rear control arms out of the car, prepping them for reinforcements, and decided to change the bushings. The Haynes manual says to replace the entire control arm, but I've seen the bushings available for sale. How would I go about removing and replacing them?

I am trying to remove my torsion bars and I'm having a heck of a time removing them. Maybe I need a step by step procedure. I have surfed the web, but have not found any step by step instructions. Can you guide me to the answer?
