928 S4 Original Wheels Refinishing

I have original wheels on my 1988 928 S4. There is blistering, mostly around the lug nuts. An auto dealership within reasonable distance has a restoration service that refinishes wheels. Is there anything I need to be especially aware of?

updated wheel and tires for 928

Are there late model porsche wheels that will work well with these, older 16" tires are hard to find, would like to fit "lobster" or newer turbo twist styles and size

Any advice without going into specific offset, etc (which I understand) can affect handling characteristics.

Thanks

Carl

17" or 18" rims

Hi Guys

Which 17" or 18" would you recommend for my 1984  928?
Would prefer direct "easy" /perfect fit
Thanks

928 wheels

Model: 928S4, Year:1987, Mileage:117000, Type of use:Street use only
I have an 87 928S4 with 16" wheels and I am interested in adding a set of Turbo Twist wheels. Is it possible to add these wheels from a newer model? And what sizes would be a good fit? I am new in the Porsche world and I'm planning to make a few light modifications to my car. Thank You for any assistance

I have a set of rims, 16 x 7 for the front and 16 x 9 for the rear with 55mm and 70mm offsets, will these fit my 1982 928 without spacers?

Tire advice for 928S4

Model: 928S4, Year:1990, Mileage:33,600, Type of use:Street use only

89GT tire size

Vehicle Information: Year: 1989; Engine (size, modifications): 5 Litre-stock; Total Mileage: 65k miles; Transmission type: Manual;

Staggered tires (OE) are very limited in 225/50 and 245/45-16. Using stock Clubsport rims, any suggestions for a ZR summer tire?

Alternative Tires Sizes for 1987

Vehicle Information: Year: 1987; Engine (size, modifications): 5 litre; Total Mileage: 100,000; Transmission type: Manual;

I'm getting a bit frustrated with the declining list of tire choices I have for my 1987.Who would have a tire matching table which would let me pick slightly alternative sizes for my car? I'm looking for an economical, high performance, comfortable ride, not an Ultra High Performance, since it's mostly a cruiser.
