944 Brake Upgrade to 944 Turbo Brakes

First, thank you for the support.  I have had my 85.5 944 for over 29 years and the love affair remains strong. Of course there is always work to do and have a couple questions hoping you can help me with.  Know there is a lot of “information” out there on this but have yet to see it in one condensed and solid version – and some more accurate than others. My master cylinder gave up the ghost a couple weeks back and figure in for a penny, in for a pound, it is time for a complete brake upgrade.

Model: 944, Year:1983, Mileage:47000, Type of use:Street use only
My 1983 944 is leaking brake fluid at the rubber gasket connecting the plastic fluid reservoir to the metal piece below. What can I do to correct this situation? is there a way to remove only the plastic fluid reservoir and replace this gasket?

Brake Pads

Model: 944, Year:1984, Mileage:95000, Type of use:Street use only
I have Ferodo Rear brake pads(Premier Quality) that I puchased years ago and can not find a source for Ferodo Ft. Pads. Is it wise to use another brand for the ft such as Textar or should I buy FT and Rear from same supplier.

Clutch slave bleeding feeder hose

Model: 944, Year:85/2, Mileage:91,000, Type of use:Track use only. This is more of a notification rather than a question. The clutch master cylinder is fed from a hose attached to the brake master cylinder reservoir. I have two 944's that have had these replaced with incorrect hoses! In one case the hose has collapsed/hardened/blockage and the brake fluid cannot refill the clutch master cylinder.

Problem with fronts locking up...

Model: 944, Year:1985, Mileage:70000, Type of use:Track use only
I have replaced the front brakes on my 85.5 na 944 with a 86 turbo, calipers, hubs, spindels etc. The rear still has the stock brake set-up.Problem: always locking up the front brakes. I drive really hard into conners; can't modulate fronts wheels. How do you bias the front to the rear, different pads?

Model: 951, Year:1986, Mileage:117k, Type of use:Street use only
Hi!I going to changes the pads all around on my 1986 951. Will also swap the fluid. Is it necessary to also bleed the clutch slave? thanks.steve

Rear brakes clunk

Model: 951, Year:1986, Mileage:100000, Type of use:Street use only

Model: 944, Year:1986, Mileage:104000, Type of use:Both Street & Track
My brakes went out overnight, I added a little fluid but still the pedal go to the floor with very little stopping power. I was stripping out the inside of it. Did I disconnect something or is this a more serious issue?Thank you in advanced

1986 944 Turbo brake pad upgrade

Vehicle Information: Model(924/944): 944; Year: 1986; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.5, K-27 turbo; Total Mileage: 110,000;

I have a 951 used for autocross and drivers ed. I would like a bit more braking power. I would like to buy upgraded brake pads. I would only use them when at the track. Are the Hawk Blue 9012 the best choice for the 951? Should I put the same pads on the front as well as the back?
