Trailer Control Module Programming

I recently purchased a trailer tow package directly from a Porsche dealer (last week). that included all necessary hardware, wiring, and the trailer control module. The window sticker indicates "tow prep" which to me signifies only wiring to the rear cargo area. The first question, now that everything is plugged in - does Porsche need to program the module such that the vehicle becomes aware of the controller (Part# 7L0907383M)? Second, how can one tell that a trailer mode is engaged (via a dash icon or PCM visual declaration)?

PCM Lock and Nav Settings Changing

The settings for locking and unlocking the car have changed every time I have driven my 2009 Cayenne S in the last week.  Normally, I deselect the options to automatically lock the car when driven and unlock it when the key is pulled out.  I changed the settings back to what I normally use when I started the Cayenne this morning, but both locking settings were selected again after starting the car again at the grocery store.  In addition, I noticed the nav distance settings were now in meters (vs miles), and that there were related changes in the consumption reporting.

Satellite Radio Reception '05 Cayenne S

Model: Cayenne S, Year:2005, Mileage:78,000, Type of use:Street use only
Is the satellite radio antenna connection reasonably accessible? I have an intermittent reception issue which does not seem to be related to areas where reception is normally a problem. I thought there might be a connection issue. I have a similar problem with FM but to a lesser extent. Any hints? Thanks.

brake lights

Model: Cayanne, Year:2006, Mileage:71000, Type of use:Street use only
Check brake light warning came on. Right and center lights work but left lights do not work. Tail lights and turn signals work ok. Where should I start looking?

door locks

Model: Cayenne S, Year:2008, Mileage:90,000, Type of use:Street use only
I am having a problem with the car locking. When I press the lock on the fob, the doors all lock except sometimes the left rear door does not lock. The sometimes part makes it hard to troubleshoot. The other odd item is that the rear hatch does not always open after I unlock the car, when that happens if I open the left rear door and try again it opens with no issue. I am not sure if those two items are related.

Cayenne Stop/Start Function

Model: Cayenne, Year:2012, Mileage:1,000, Type of use:Street use only
We're becoming accustomed to our 2012 Cayenne's Stop/Start function and intend to keep it enabled. It seems to me that the vehicle's starter will be subjected to thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of incremental uses over its lifetime, vs a vehicle without this function. Should we assume we'll be replacing the starter multiple times, or, has Porsche re-engineered the basic starter to account for this type of usage?

Speedodometer reliabilty

Model: Cayenne S, Year:2011, Mileage:20,000, Type of use:Street use only
2011 Cayenne S the speedodometer is 2-3 miles off (Higher) compared to the actual speed at all speeds above 30 mph. Is this acceptible or can it be corrected. Thanks, Britton Taylor

warning sound

Model: CayenneT, Year:2006, Mileage:64000, Type of use:Street use only
I have no audible sound for warning when my headlights are left on or seat belts not fastened. Can you tell me if this is a malfunction of a fuse or sound device or maybe it has been turned off? ThanksBen
