Whats the best product to maintain the plastics on a Porsche

Recently bought my first and definitely not my last 911,  I noticed that the seals (i.e. window and cowl), are prone to the same deterioration that a lot of the eurpoean cars are noted for here in S Florida, they get gummy and sticky and just fall apart.  I am wondering, what it the best care that can keep them from falling apart.  Also where is the best place to order replacement parts.  Dealership, forget it, they are the last resort with their high price point.  Thank you for any wisdom that can be imparted on these questions

Model: Cayenne Turbo, Year:2004, Mileage:72000, Type of use:Street use only
I recently purchased a 2004 Cayenne turbo and noticed that the exterior aluminum trim around the windows is starting to show wear. What product would you suggest I use to bring the finish back? Many thanks for your future response and for your commitment to the Porsche community.

I know that you would likely never do this, but I am removing the headlight washers while painting the front of my car and changing to a TT bumper. How would you fill the holes left when the washers are removed?Thanks,

Black Metal Trim on 1978 911SC

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 SC; Year: 1978; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 38,000;

I have a 1978 911SC with the black metal trim around the windows rather than chrome. These pieces appear to be "streaked" or uneven in terms of being uniform in appearance. Is there a product that I can use to clean or buff them that will not harm the paint?Thanks....

sOUND DEADENING

Vehicle Information: Model: 930; Year: 1977; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 58000;

I am replacing the engine compartment sound deadening pad with an OEM replacement. Several places have recommended 3M 08091 Super Trim spray adhesive. Apparently this product has been discontinued by 3M and I can't locate any. What would you recommend as an alternative? I used the 08091 in a 912 several years ago and it worked well, but the 930 runs much hotter and I really don't want to do this twice.Thanks,Dave White

door window frames

Vehicle Information: Model: 911S; Year: 1977; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 100000;

i am refurbishing the doors and have realized that I am not able to replace the channel felt and slot seals without removal of the window frames. I am not sure how to proceed and have searched this site and the factory manuals. Am I correct about the frames? Are there hidden pitfalls other than removal of the several hex head bolts? Should a professional do this? Thank you.Doug
