How to remove the convertible top on the 2011 Boxster (987.2)

I need to install a new hardtop for my 2011 Boxster S. Will I need to remove the convertible top (temporarily) to acess the attachment site for the new bolts for the Spinlocks? I have searched many forums but can't find this information, or how to actually do it. I am an average home auto mechanic (and do a lot of the maintenace for my 1990 C2). Would I be wise to tackle this myself (there is some satisfaction in doing so)?

Door windows rattle

I can not drive with the winows partially lowered. They make a rattling noise that I'm sure Porsche did not intend to be there. I took it to the dealer and of course they could not duplicate the problem. Any ideas on the cause for this noise?

Born date emblem

Model: 911t, Year:1973, Mileage:155,00, Type of use:Street use only
I am restoring a 1973 911T, and would love to save the emblem that has the vechile ID number, and production date the car was completed. Is there a way to get the emblem off, I am thinking a blow dryer, or better yet, does Porsche offer a replacement tag.

Vinyl Graphics Care

Model: Cayman S, Year:2011, Mileage:96, Type of use:Street use only
We just purchased a new 2011 Cayman S with the vinyl graphics on the side. I am concerned over the care of the graphics as most waxes can dry out the vinyl causing it to crack etc. I have found nothing in the Porsche literature on how to care for it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Rear Window on 993 Cabriolet

Model: C4 Cabriolet, Year:1996, Mileage:25,000, Type of use:Street use only
I want to replace the Rear Plastic Window on a 993 Cabriolet. There is a zipper around the entire window but I am not certain what I need to do to replace it. Where do you get a new window with a zipper and does it just zip out and in?

Refinishing rotor hubs

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 ; Year: 1984; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 40000;

What is the best way to refinish the gray painted hub portion of the brake rotor assembly. The factory finish seems to be gray. I have removed any rust, but the finish needs to be, well, refinished! Or am I better off just getting new rotors?Thanks, JohnMac McGregor

1995 Driver door mirror

Vehicle Information: Model: 993; Year: 1995; Body Type: Convertible; Total Mileage: 75850;

As I was pulling out of my garage this morning, the glass part of the driver's door mirror fell off and shattered exposing a black rubber like base behind it. Is the glass replaceable without the mirror, and if so, do I just glue it back on? I have heated power mirrors. Do I need to remove the rubber base? Thank you.
