Lugnuts Finishing

Model: 911 carerra, Year:1986, Mileage:116000, Type of use:Street use only
Hello,In the November issue of the Panorama Magazine you describe how the targa top and wheels can be refinished. I have the same problem with the lugnuts. The paint is worn of the edges from wear and tear. How are these black coated lugnuts finished? What procedure and material can I use to refinish the lugnuts. Thank you for the information that you provide.Werner Gerhardt

how to remove chrome from factory wheels

Vehicle Information: Model: 993; Year: 1995; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 73000;

The wheels on my 993 were chrome plated when I purchased in 1998. This chrome is now pitted and flaking off in pieces. You can see the copper plating underneath. Is there a safe way to remove the chrome so the wheels could be painted or powder coated?

My 2003 996 coupe has the 18" factory wheels. One of the spokes has what appears to be a stone chip about 1/16 inch wide. I would like to touch it up with paint and clearcoat. Is the paint available from Porsche or any aftermarket supplier in touch up bottles or sticks? Is there a way to find out the code for the paint as there is for the body?Thanks
