04 996tt Tip Cab 105500mls engine rebuild 3.6 to 3.8

Model: 996tt tip cab, Year:2004, Mileage:105500, Type of use:Street use only
I have a chain case oil leak that requires engine removal, and figured with the miles I should have it rebuilt. I'm in clearwater fl and Eibell performance can rebuild for resonable price. Speaking to Motormeiser, they recommend carrillo rods and upgrading the 3.6 pistons and sleeves to 3.8 with their kit. I want low end torque and a speedy rev for street only. What do you think? I will want to rebuild/ replace the turbos and do exhaust and ecu. They said to stick with stock k16s for less lag. I wanted to modify initially when purchased at 97000mls but was told that too many miles and that pwr would surely break something. I was thinking Revo for the flash, but there are so many others out there? Also its a non s 04 tip, is the tranny up to the job? Switzer says The later tip s is much better for 600+ power. Any thoughts on all this would be greatly appreciated.Thx John
