1971 911S Throttle body cleaning and restoration

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 S; Year: 1971; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.2 S MFI; Total Mileage: ?;

I am located in Michigan and have a 1971 911S 2.2 with MFI which I am restoring. I have a technical question. I have removed the intake manifolds and am in the process of giving these a good cleaning. The throttle bodies are very dirty and I would like to remove the butterfly valves and check the play in the butterfly shafts and clean and lubricate them. The butterflies seem to be held on with 2 soft brass screws which I cannot remove - the head seems to disintegrate when I try and turn them. Would these have been loctited in and if I have to resort to drilling them out can I get replacement screws ? Do you know of any alternatives for removing these screws ? Also, can you recomend a good solution for cleaning these components ?
