Fuel System

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1971; Body Type: Targa; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.2; Total Mileage: 140000;

I am in the process of trying to fix up a 1971 911T that sat in myuncle's back yard for about 5 years. The car has a pair of Weber 40 IDA3c carburetors that were pretty corroded on the inside. While i wasattempting to dissasemble and clean one of them I broke the head off ofone of the main jet carriers and then cracked the body of the carb when Itried to get the remainder of the carrier out with an easy out. Is thereany way to fix this? The cracking is very small. I thought of drillingout the rest of the brass and using epoxy on the cracks. Is there anyhope or am I just going to have to shell out the cash for a new carb?
