1972 911 Front Spoilers

Vehicle Information: Model: 911T; Year: 1972; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 125,000;

Hi John,I was considering adding a front & rear spoiler to my 911, partly because I like the look better but mainly to reduce front end lift and cross-wind sensitivity that I have experienced from time to time (particulary on the back straight at Mosport, over whats left of the hump, on a windy day). I am intending to add the front spoiler first followed by a "Ducktail" rear engine lid when I can find one that fits to my satisfaction.My question is, do you know of any information that would tell me whether the "S" style front spoiler controls front end lift better than an "RS" style spoiler? Looking at the two, it would seem that the RS unit has less "lip" area due to the housing for the front oil cooler. My personal opinion is that the "S" spoiler looks better on the car but I am more interested in 'function over form' so want to make the right choice. I realise that the combination of an "S" front spoiler with a Ducktail isn't strictly Kosher, but that doesn't bother me too much.Many thanksAndy.
