1972 911 Mechanical Fuel Injection Fuel in the Gasoline and Pedal Cluster

Engine

Vehicle Information: Model: 911; Year: 1972; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 2.4 mechanical fuel pump #6202169; Total Mileage: ometer 68,000????;

This car has been in storage for over 10 years. I am now trying torestore the beast. When I put it in storage, the engine had 5,000 mileson it after a rebuild. Also the fuel pump was rebuilt by a local fuelinjection outfit, but it continues to have the same problem. That is, itcontinues to get gasoline in the oil sump. What is the problem and whatcan be done about it?Another question: I had to disassemble the central pedal assembly. Inreassembling it, I notice that the clutch spring pushes the pedal down tothe floor, not like the brake pedal, which pulls it back. Is this right?Before taking it apart, the pedals were frozen!
