1972 911S motronic conversion


Vehicle Information: Model: 911S; Year: 1972; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): 6cyl, 2.4, weber to motronic; Total Mileage: 100;

I have an opportunity to swap my 40IDS webers for a complete motronic unit off a Euro 3.2 Carrera motor. Has anyone performed a similar modification? Does the intake manifold interior diameter match the intake port of a 2.4S head? If not what is the difference? Is there enough metal on the intake port to machine to make a match? Or is it better to purchase a throttle body from TWM to provide the induction for an EFI system? I have plans to design a ECU unit to "customize" the mapping of fuel, timing, etc.
