1973 911S Dual Plug Timing


Vehicle Information: Model: 911S; Year: 1973; Body Type: Coupe; Engine (type, size, modifications): stock; Total Mileage: 74,000;

I am in the process of restoring my 911S and have contemplated raisingthe compression with 2.2 pistons and dual plugging the motor. Could youadvise me on the best timing curve alterations? Most articles suggestturning the distributor back a few degrees. I've tried this on amotorcycle I have dual plugged as an experiment and it idles roughly.(The engine dimensions are very close to the 73 911) One motorcyclereference suggests leaving the static advance and reshaping the high endof the advance curve. Is there any way of finding what the factory did inthe past? Or can you recommend a company to contact for adjustments? Ireally like the sound and feel of the mechanical injection and do notwant to go ahead without understanding the outcome.
