1977 911S starting problems

Engine

Vehicle Information: Year: 1977; Body Type: Coupe;

I have a 1977 911S with about 58000 miles. Last year it started the undesireable trait of not starting after being driven. In other words, it starts cold, but once warm and having sat for 20 or 30 minutes, it won't start until it has cooled off for a couple of hours. It runs great otherwise. I've read some other similar problems in the tech session and Up Fixin and I believe it may be a failed check valve at the fuel pump, or perhaps the pop-off valve (?) is sticking. In any case, my mechanic, who has yet to look at it, thinks it may be electrical. Please let me know what you think so I can point my mechanic in th at direction.Thanks much,Jim Crysler
