1977 930 Routine maintenance

Brakes

Vehicle Information: Year: 1977; Engine (Size, Modifications): 3.0 Liter - original; Total Mileage: 78,000;

I obtained this car in 1999 with no service records. Recently I tried out a new shop here in Syracuse for a year end oil change and bumper to bumper inspection. The shop came highly recommeded from another Porche owner.While I am experiencing no problems with brakes, no pulling or noise, it is being advised I have a minor brake tune up for preventative maintanence. The service advised includes bleeding lines and replacing hoses. The technician believes the lines to be orignal to the vehicle. My experience todate with local Porche dealer has been minor repairs have often led to major repairs. Therefore even though this shop comes highly recommended I am reluctent to mess with brakes that are not broken. Your advise concerning importance of repair, other repairs this one could lead to, and estimated cost would be appreciated.
