1978 911 SC Trans Rebuild Questions

Vehicle Information: Model: 911SC; Year: 1978; Body Type: Coupe; Total Mileage: 150,000;

I'm rebuilding my 915 transnission and have a few questions. The 1st and 2nd syncro teeth will be replaced along with all syncros and brake bands and the 1st & 2nd slider.If I replace the sliders do the guide sleeves need replaced? All the sliders look worn where the syncro wears on it, so I think they need replaced.Should the syncro teeth and sliders be replaced in sets?I also would like your opinion on the one piece tension plates that hold in the bearings on the input and pinion shaft to the differential housing? I'm talking about the ones made by WEVO and Power Haus II. Are they a worth while upgrade that will help with trans and bearing life or are just nessary for high horse power applications?I use the car for general use but am going to do some auto cross and drivers ed events.
