1978 911SC Rear Torsion Bar Upgrade

Suspension

Vehicle Information: Model: 911 SC Targa; Year: 1978; Body Type: Targa; Total Mileage: 100,000;

I want to lower my car to Euro height and my rear torsion bars will needto be adjusted in the splines. Since the bars are coming out anyway,would you recommend replacing with 28 mm "Sway Away" bars? I use the carmostly for street but do autocross and DE. I just replaced all 4 shockswith Bilstein sport shocks and like the firmness but do not really wantthe car to be too stiff on the road. My budget is not yet ready foradjustable sway bars and I am thinking the torsion bar upgrade may be anext logical step to improving the suspension. What are the pros-cons ofthe larger torsion bars and do you think this to be the next step toimproving the suspension?
