1979 Head light switch diagram

Vehicle Information: Year: 1979; Body Type: Coupe;

I had a burn out on the blue and black wire coming from the headlight switch. It smoked pretty bad and melted the sheild.There is a brown wire hanging with a black capsule on the same switch.?? Where does it go and did this cause the burn up? I am ready to replace the wires,but I need to know where they go. My manual is a little confusing.Is there a better diagram out there. Please help.
